Hand Coloring

I think that a good hand colored print has smooth colors and that the different colors don't run into each other. I plan to take pictures of kids and to color parts of the picture. I like mine that I framed one boy with his shirt and the seat behind him leaving the rest in blakc and white. I think I need to work on smoothing out the colors more and making sure they don't run into other parts of the picture.

4 Coss-processed photos

Cross-processing is when you take film and develop it in a chemical solution meant for a different type of film. I think the best subjects for cross-processing are ones with lots of color so that you can tell a big difference when it is cross-processed. I liked how my cross-processed prints turned out, but didn't like that some had the same colors through the whole picture so I couldn't tell a difference in the colors that changed in some. Most of my colors were darker colors not really bright ones but the colors I did get changed really well.

4 Solarization pics.

www.google.com
For solarizartion I think that the more contrast you have in the picture the better it will soarize because it will be a more dramatic change if there is a lot of grays however than it wont have as big of a change when you go to solarize the picture. My ideas were staying with contrast, so i took pictures that had light and dark. I took pictures of graffiti that has lots of colors so when in black and white it is more contrast. I think that I did pretty good but I needed lots more light in some of my picture because they turned out too dark or too light and i had to expose for a long time to get the effect I wanted.
