http://images49.fotki.com/v1519/photos/1/1046324/5719879/mabpfyi129-vi.jpg
This Picture of frozen motion used a very fast shutter speed in order to catch the wings like this.

this picture probably used a faster shutter speed but not so fast becasue you cant see individual drops but it also isnt very blurry, maybe a shutter speed of  1/500th

frozen Motion 1

This picture had to have used a very fast shutter speed like 1/2000 to be able to catch the glasses shattering and the liquid falling with some droplets standing out.

Blurred motion 1

This picture would have used a slower shutter speed around 1/30th so that they could get the fast moving objects while panning.

Waterfall

i chose this picture out of the textbook because i like nature pictures. i like how the water isn't frozen to the point where you can see every drop . i like this because it makes it look peaceful. I would take a picture like this because i like taking pictures of nature, i think they are peacful and pretty.Something i could do that would be similar would be to take a picture of the waterfalls in the woods up in the mountains, where i go a lot.

My neighborhood map

i would like to take pictures on the trails we have because sometimes the lighting in there comes in cool ways.
i would also like to take pictures down at the bus stop cause the old shop looks cool and would be a neat subject.i think taking a picture of the chickens and my dog, Kenai, would be an intresting subject casue she chases them around sometimes. The house at the very beginning of the driveway would also be cool because its falling apart and it would add intresting looks to the picture.

Kids in the Snow

First words that come to mind: Happy, playful, excited
These words relate to the picture because they all appear to be happy to be out and playing in the snow. They are also bending to the ground and scooping up snow and then some are throwing snowballs at each other. This supports playful. Then one of the kids is looking up to the sky like he is excited to see the snow falling to the ground.    The basic shapes in this picture are just kids running around this arangement makes the picture look lively.

enlarger

pictures I want to take

1) Obediant: my dog sitting-Fast shutter speed so i can get her before she gets bored :)
2)adorable: Stuffed animals - smaller aperture number so that it lets in more light and makes it look happy
3)dominant: my rooster- fast shutter speed to freeze him in motion
4)eager: my brother reaching for a cookie
5)fast: my brother riding his bike- slow shutter speed so there is motion blur
6)lonely: my sister sitting alone- bigger aperture number to let less light in so it looks more glum
7)gentle: my cat- short depth of field with a soft background
8) timid: a bird hopping on the ground looking around
9)Vibrant/colorful: my pink flowers- smaller aperture number so it lets in more light and looks brighter and vibrant
10)silly: my dog chasing my chickens- medium depth of field to get her and the chickens in focus
learning to think like an artist
This means that you should be creative and open minded. You should work hard and be creative with every photot you take.
Learning to think like an artist means: Looking at things more closely than most people do
Finding beauty in everyday things and situations
Making new connections between different things and ideas
Going beyond ordinary ways of thinking and doing things
Looking at objects in different ways in order to generate new perspectives
Taking risks and exposing yourself to possible failure
Arranging items in new and imaginative ways
Working hard and at the edge of your potential
Persisting where others may give up
Concentrating your effort and attention for long periods of time
Dreaming and fantasizing
Using old ideas to create new ones
Doing something simply because it’s interesting and personally challenging to do
